Sim routing to objects and then just standing there

I have removed all my mods and CC.  since the update my game is running super slow but now when I load into the game all the sims the house seem frozen in their current activity. I can reset them and it seems like it helps but then you tell them to do something like cook and they walk right over to the fridge and just stare at it for 2 sim hours.  if you can get them to do something they stay stuck in a loop. the maid is just standing in the middle of the room staring at the wall.  pop ups are still happening phone calls are coming in but the sims are stuck.  I have tried a couple of times to repair. I took a few videos but I don't see a way to upload those there.

  • Dannakyri  Please try playing in a different, unplayed household in this save; and in a new household in a new save, with freshly-made sims and a blank or default EA-made lot, nothing from the Gallery.  I'm not saying you need to abandon your current save, only that these are useful comparisons.

For reference, please also provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

Here is the dxdiag.  I haven't had time to load up and play again after all the troubleshooting. In addition I am having the issue were it says it won't recognize my graphics card.  The whole issue started happening about an hour into playing the first time since the update. I am guessing something in that corrupted something. I will do the things you have asked and get back to you.

  • Dannakyri  Are you getting BlueScreens while playing Sims 4?  I see a couple of them listed in your dxdiag, but there's no way to tell when they happened.  So please let me know, and please also do the testing whenever you have time.

The unrecognized video card error is not an actual problem.  I answered you and a few other people in a longer thread about that a few minutes ago.

I created a new house and moved them in thinking it might be something in the house. I worked all night. I put my mods back in and about and house later it started again so I am thinking it is an issue with one of the mods  I am running breaking something in the house.  I hope its not Mccc commander because I can't live without that one!

  • Dannakyri  If you can reproduce the error with at least some consistency, the 50/50 method is an efficient way to narrow down the source of the problem.

I doubt it's MCCC if yours is fully updated, or else we'd likely be seeing a lot more reports, but the only way to find out is to test.  And if it or another mod you wouldn't play without is in fact the problem, an update or a change in settings could help.
