Simbar not loading

My game seems to be fine until I go into edit mode and then come out of it when done, the simbar won’t load and I have to restart the game for it to then reappear. I also can’t see the event bar on the top left (it just appears glitchy). Seems to be happening since the new update :/ anyone had this before? Or does anyone know a way to fix this? I’ve tried to restarting my pc and still the same issue?

    I am also having this exact same issue. Both aspects. Have been for the last 24 hours. Thought it was me and was about to give up. So glad I am not alone.

    Like you, go into build mode, come out, nothing is there, have to reset etc. 

     

    Then have to exit the game and hope I don't have to fix anything

    Here's a few ideas you could try. I have no idea whether they will help. 

    1. Press F1 (Live mode) 
    2. Press F2 (Buy mode) and then press F1 (Live mode) 
    3. Press F3 (Build mode) and then press F1 (Live mode) 
    4. Press F5 (Manage Worlds). I recommend that you don't save, since I think it's a bad idea to save problems. Then select the household if it's on the map.
