Sims 3 Camera in Sims 4 Not Working

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Base Game Only
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open game and go to build mode and try to move the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? I have the Sims 3 camera activated, it is my preferred camera when building and gaming, but since the update I am not able to turn the camera by way of clicking the center button, holding and moving the mouse. The screen will just stay in one place.
What do you expect to see? I expect my screen to move in the direction I want when I press and hold the center button on my mouse and move it so I can build more freely.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It was the newest update that added new clothing and build objects to the game.

    I just tested this on my own game but I'm not seeing any issues with the camer.

    What kinds of mods where you using that you removed ? Maybe they weren't removed properly ?

    I would try repairing the game through Origin and delete your cache files.

    They were only 3 custom content hairs that were disabled once the game updated, and I never abled them again. The first few minutes into the game after updating my game camera worked, but then all of a sudden i couldnt rotate it in any direction.

    I was gonna try the repairing through origin, but I wasn't sure what that was going to do, so I'll probably do that when I can.

    Yes I did! Thank you so much for helping me! I did as you suggested with the fixing the game through origin and it hardly even crashes now (maybe once every 3-4 times I play it, but I don't have a great computer so).

    I am now having the same issue. I use the Sims 3 camera and its working except for when i try to rotate my screen. I can not use my middle mouse button to rotate my screen anymore. I have tried repairing the game multiple times through origin and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still no luck.

    Hi @TigerStripes99

    are you using any mods in your game ? If so, have you tried without (UI Cheat extension mod seems to conflict with some commands and needs updating)

    There are some known issues in Tab mode though so maybe there's other stuff that's broken after the patch.

    Will try my game later to make sure.

    I use some custom content and a columns mod, ive never had an issue with it before but i will try taking them out.
    I play in windowed fullscreen but im not sure that has anything to do with it as ive changed it to different views.

    I am now having this very same issue.

    I've  have never had any mod's or custom content.  It started after I purchased the new expansion.

    I cannot rotate my view on my camera at all.

    Repairing game didn't resolve the issue.

    Any suggestions?
