Sims 4 - Error Code: 22
I play a game sometimes and try to save and get a message about error code 22. I lose all my data. I looked it up online and have already moved my saves, slowly added them back and with each one create a game, play for a while and see if it saves. I did this with all my saves and each time it saved. What I am asking is, please someone help me?!? How can I fix this?!!
there should be an indication in your tray bar in the lower right corner. Check there if Windows is doing an update.

If it works in clean mode, then it's a conflict with a background program. Turn stuff back on after trying and find out what's running. You can also check your task manager (right click on the bar at the bottom and choose task manager.
