Sims 4 black screen when selecting anything in build/buy

Everytime I select anything in build/buy the screen goes black. If I tab to the desktop and then back the screen will be back but anytime I click anything including options or switching to live mode ...

I've been having the same problem. It makes trying to even play the game pointless.

EDIT: It appears today's patch fixed the issue for me.

hi everyone, its been 2 days now that i'm in the phone with EA support, they cannot explain me which is the reason for this problem they just told me that the company propably is trying to fix this issue that is coming so popoular and they asked me to wait until the new patch.
