Sims 4 black screen when selecting anything in build/buy

Everytime I select anything in build/buy the screen goes black. If I tab to the desktop and then back the screen will be back but anytime I click anything including options or switching to live mode ...

This is how i solved it. Run the program after changing its properties. Set the compatibility to Window 7 and i hope this helps! :D

where can i set the compatibility to w.7? Have got 8,1 now..
and: When i get thi black screen (everytime i select anything to buy) I have to exit the game and restart.. Because the ts4 window goes on top of everything else including my desctop.

EA FIX IT NOW! I used to play for free through my sisters originprofile and I went ahead and bought the "game", and this is what you give me?

  Right click on the game icon on your desktop and choose properties.
  
  You should find the option on the compatibilty tab.

    Choose Properties - THEN WHAT? Reading the Properties of Your Computer or the Game doesn't fix BAD PROGRAMMING CREATED BY ELECTRONIC ARTS
