Sims 4 bonus objects for owning sims 3 are missing when owning CDs

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? It happens in every single one
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None at the moment
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Own Sims 3 as CDs
What happens when the bug occurs? The objects aren't there
What do you expect to see? The objects I get for owning Sims 3
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I was already talking to the support about this multiple times and they told me open up a bug report for this as many players are currently asking for help on this. 

When you own the Sims 3 as CDs and not as codes / on the ea account you don't get the bonus objects that you're supposed to get in the Sims 4.

There should be a way to link the CD codes to the current ea account and maybe also have a way to have them on your account so you dont always have to install them manually disk by disk.

    Hi @Erbschen002 

    Are you referring to the Plumbob lamps in The Sims 4 as a reward for owning The Sims 3? That promotion ended in 2015- when did you get The Sims 4?

    hi, not sure when I got it as I had the base game alone for a long time but never played it until I bought a few packs. 

    But the thing is if it was a promotional thing from back then, then why are I fluencers only sharing it now like it's a new thing and know nothing about it. Same with the support, why would they say go report it as a bug as many players are asking about it. 

    The problem is that there's nothing when you google and I think it would be a bit unfair that it's limited to when I bought the Sims 4.

    Hey @Erbschen002 , which influencers are sharing this information and where?

    Support might be confusing this with another issue, I don't believe we are not treating this as a bug at the moment 🤔
