Sims 4 crashes after a few minutes

Hi, Sorry to piggy back off of this post, but I've been having this identical problem before Life & Death came out. I do have mods, (MCCC and some bb mode cc). I waited months to get it the new expansion due to the issues, but once I updated my drivers, the game seemed to run like it used to so I downloaded Life & Death. Constant crashes again, after a few minutes of game play or bb mode. I run my game in windowed mode and the window screen would pause, then go dark and then the screen goes white and then the game play will resume. It will do that 2 or 3 times before finally crashing out. I run on directX9, tried lowering the graphics, repaired the game on EA, removed mods and updated them again... still crashing... could you please look at my dxdiag? I'm worried this many be a hardware issue as well.

Thanks for the dxdiag, which lists a number of crashes of the graphics driver.  So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, which is more thorough than simply updating.  Here's how:

If this doesn't help, the issue could be hardware-related, especially given the age of your system.  But as a next step, I'd suggest installing a program like GPU-Z or hwinfo that can monitor the temperatures of your graphics card. GPU-Z is lightweight and mostly looks at GPU data; hwinfo captures all the sensors it can find.  In either case, let me know what kind of temps you see when running the game.  The max should still be listed even if you get a crash before you can check with the game open.
