Moved Game to SSD But Mods/CC Not Working

I just finished the process of moving all of my Sims 4 files to a drive. Both the User folder and the installation folder are now both on the drive. My game loads in perfectly fine, but the save file is not populating or my mods/cc. I can still see the save files and cc under the MODS folder so I know that it is there. I have tried to create a symbolic link from my C: /documents folder, but I get an error that the file already exists. Anyone experienced can help me?
