sims 4 crashing at random intervals after being stable for months

Hi I've had a history of issues with the sims crashing previously but its been running pretty well up until this week.. i was wondering if anyone could help me figure it out? I play modded but i've tried running unmodded and even on a fresh install of windows and nothing seems to help
