Sims 4 crashing before main menu

So I updated to the latest version of Sims 4, disabled all mods and stuff before doing so. I open the game and cant get past the startup animation then loading for a bit before it closes with no ackn...

I don't think this is a "mods/cc" issue. I don't have ANY of those. Never have and I have the exact same issue.
