Apple1776 Just to be sure, the new save you've created is still present when you're trying to load your old saves? If you deleted the new save, remove the old ones and create another new one for testing purposes. And when you do have a new save present but you put your old saves back, the game crashes before the Main Menu? I just want to be sure I have the details right.
Unfortunately, I don't know of a fix aside from having a new save present and adding back whichever mods you were using while you played the old save. But you can keep an eye on the master bug report for any updates, from EA or from other users, regarding potential fixes or workarounds.
Yes, exactly, when I have a new save present but put my old saves back, the game crashes before the menu.
Unfortunate that EA, or community-based systems, don't have a way of being able to save households from games that have gone off the deep end like mine. Is there any way I could save my household at this point, or should I just abandon the past save and attempt to remake them all?
