I am unsure what happened but one day I tried to boot up the sims 4 and it will launch then crash on the plumbob loading screen. I have uninstalled EA aswell as the sims 4, there are no mods, I have moved the folder so the game can make a new one, I have made sure my computer works with dx11 and dx9 and NOTHINGGGG is working AT ALL
@puzzlezaddict it did work, I can't believe it, two letters and two numbers were the only thing missing for the game to work. I went from not being able to press play without the game craching to a game working as before. Thank you a thousand time, you are a blessing for this comunity !
@puzzlezaddict Hi! This thread is a few months old but I'm having a similar problem where I try opening my game, it gets to the load screen, and it flashes white and goes back to EA. I've been scrolling through the thread and I did the dxdiag to see if it was also my graphics, though I'm not sure how to read it so I attached it below. Please, anything helps!
@Wynn1e A dxdiag is almost always useful. In your case, please try this workaround for other Surface models (post 17):
