Sims 4 Crashing When Opening World
Hi, I’m having an issue where my main Sims 4 save crashes every time I try to load it.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Removed all mods and CC
- Cleared cache files (localthumbcache, etc.)
- Renamed my Sims 4 folder to force a clean game folder
- Repaired the game through the EA App
- Tested older versions of the save (.ver0, .ver1, etc.)
- Tried loading other saves — those work fine
- Identified the specific save file that’s broken, but it’s my main one
I also attempted to open the family in a new save, but the game still crashes when I try to load them. I’m uploading the zipped save file here in case someone can take a look:
I’m on [Mac/PC], and I’ve tested everything in a completely clean folder with mods removed.
