Hello, I've been having issues with my game crashing in 5mins after loading into my save. It was an issue before the 9/22/26 update and sadly it is still happening. This is an issue with or without MODs added, I checked. I have no idea why my game is crashing at this point.
I had it set to auto save, so the fact that it went backwards was weird. There was one crash in the saved game. I decided to start again and so far it's fine.
spirit_nz Yes, that's correct. There's nothing in your dxdiag that would definitively explain the Sims 4 crashes, or a system crash for that matter, although a component of Killer networking software is crashing. We can put that aside for now though.
Have you only had the one crash, or have there been multiple crashes since the patch? If multiple, is there any pattern to the crashing? For example, it might happen on the same lot every time, or when your sims are traveling, or when they're doing something specific, or even at a particular time of day in the game.
And when you say the game reverted to New Year's Eve after the crash you mentioned, was that the last time you successfully saved, or did you save after that but the progress disappeared?
I hope this is right.
I've done that but don't know how to attach it.

Kelseyensley spirit_nz Please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
spirit_nz Please also let me know whether you use any mods or custom content, and if so, whether the crashes happen with your Mods folder removed. You don't need to save your progress.
I got the update, it worked for a while then it crashed and didn't save. It went back to New Years Eve while it was up to middle Spring.
