Sims 4 Froze and won’t Close

I was trying to edit a toddler on Sims 4 and the whole thing suddenly just froze. I can’t close it, move the mouse—anything. I tried hitting the esc key, nothing. At some point the regular mouse came...

I was able to fix it. I had to hold my power down and wait for the screen to go black, then I hit it again. It started back up as normal.
