Sims 4 frozen since installed renters pack

Question

&nbsp;Since I have installed the renters expansion pack my sims doesn't work. The opening screen freezes &amp; is unresponsive to my keypad but my I have a touch screen &amp; it is responsive to touch.&nbsp;Basically, if I load the app the main screen loads but if I hit the '...' I have to close the window using the keyboard button &amp; then reopen the sims app for it to load the new page and bring up the options bar. If I then wanted to go into game options I have to touch the screen, close the window &amp; then reopen sims for the screen to open on game options. Essentially making the game unplayable.I have tried repair &amp; re-starting as well as uninstalling &amp; reinstalling.

I wish, na I downloaded it well over 12months ago &amp; have been trying to fix it myself since but only just came across the EA forums &amp; figured I’d ask for help

Do you know many simmers have a freeze issue after the January patch? If you installed the For Rent pack recently you probably patched your game. So you problem *might* be&nbsp; patch related and not For Rent related.
