Time freezing but animations carrying on

On my normal save my time kept freezing no matter what I had done. It happened once or twice over the past 2 days and then today it was really bad it would freeze after about 4 ingame hours all the time and I just couldn’t get past the next ingame day. I repaired the game, cleared the cache and took out my mods and CC and started a new save and it seemed to be fine. Although it should be noted I only played a day in the new save. I then started going through all my mods and CC and it was just an awful process. There was apparently quite a few CC and mods that it was happening with. I was doing it for 5 hours and I wasn’t even a quarter of the way through as everytime I loaded back into game I would need to play for 5-10 mins to see if the time froze or not. I even uninstalled sims and tried to go back into my original save and it still happened. I then just decided to save my household to my gallery , put everything back in and start a new save with my household. I’ve now played around 2 weeks sim time in this new save fine and now it started again, it’s only happened once so far and I deleted the cache and repaired my game and gone back into the save and hasn’t happened within the next sim day. Does anyone know if there’s anything I can do? I’ve looked up all the mods I used and none seem to be broken and my CC was absolutely fine until 2 days ago. Even after the update it was fine. I’m unsure on the problem and how to fix it , I thought my save was corrupt but if it’s happening with this new save I don’t know what the problem is.
