Sims 4 Game won't launch

I have a similar problem that has been going around lately. I have Sims 4 using both Steam and the EA app for play and purchase. I don't use Origin. Now, every time I attempt to play the game it acts like it's launching but either it stops completely or opens up the EA app. 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I have "Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content" but that doesn't work either. I have checked if it was the firewall, no issues there. So here's the dxdiag attachment:
