Sims 4 Get To Work Code Problems

I purchased Sims 4 Get To Work. I redeemed the code, and it asked me to confirm it. Nothing happened. I haven't been able to download it. When I went back to Redeem Codes...of course it told me the code had already been used. I've already contacted support. They said it was escalated and being worked on. I then get an email saying they were glad that they were able to help me. Problem is....there was no help because I still am not able to get my expansion pack. I was told that after some time that I would be able to download it. I don't know if someone dropped the ball or not, but I refuse to buy another expansion pack at $40 just to get a new code. Someone please help me!!!

    The redeem code feature on ORigin has had some problems of late.

    Please go to your EA account page, and try to redeem your code there instead 🙂'

    If you were able to activate it, can you please go to your game library, The Sims 4, click on extra content and see if your expansion is added?

    I tried that as well. I keep getting the message that the code has already been redeemed. I appreciate you taking the time to try and help me though.

    And you checked that the game was not under extra content?

    Okay, and you just bought the game? Is it possible that you redeemed the code on the wrong account?
    If you contact an EA Game Advisor and send them the code they can help you find the account it was activated on!

    Go here to contact EA support: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/

    • In the upper right corner, choose your region. If it's not there, choose US or UK.
    • Choose a game. If you need help with an account issue, choose Origin
    • Choose your platform
    • Choose topic and issue to give EA details.
    • Click Select contact option, and hopefully you get in touch with someone fast!

    I only have one account. I talked to someone, and they assured that after "some time"...that I would be able to download it, but so far nothing. I will contact EA again about this. It is so frustrating spending $40 on something, and not being able to get it.

    Yes, try to contact them again and see if they can give you an exact time or a reason why it's not working. As this seems like an account issue I can't really do anything more for you here ☹️
