I thought it was fixed but I was wrong. The game is still crashing even without mods. its not crashing right away like it used to, but it is still crashing. i cant figure out what is triggering it.
@RadiantQueenLove Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a(nother) new save and see whether it crashes.
If you do get another crash, please list the context, for example live mode vs. CAS or Build/Buy, when your sims are traveling or when you're choosing a new outfit, that kind of thing. Please also post a new dxdiag.

@puzzlezaddict The EA app wasn't working so I had to uninstall it and reinstall it again and the sims. I did what you suggested and removed all the folders and started a new game. I didnt spend much time in CAS, selected an apartment in San Myshuno and as it was starting to load, the game crashed.

@RadiantQueenLove Please test a new save in one of the base game worlds, for comparison's sake. San Myshuno has some issues, and while you should certainly be able to play there, it's not a representative test.
If you get a crash in a base game world, please try the suggestion in post 2 about lowering the in-game resolution and capping framerates. This isn't a solution either, just a test.
By the way, did you reinstall Windows, or run a repair install? I ask because the Windows Error Reports section of this dxdiag is blank, but you have the same OS as in your last dxdiag, when the WER section was fully populated. If this data is gone for no reason at all, that could mean a system issue that needs to be addressed.

@puzzlezaddict When I posted the last I had not reinstall windows, but I did end up doing that afterwards. I did as you suggested, lower resolution and framerates, tried to load a game and it crashed right away. I found some forums of people talking about the same graphics card I have crashing their games. is it possible my specific graphics card is just no good? My computer is pretty new, about a month old.
