SIMS 4 KEEPS CRASHING!
Right, so I had sims4 downloaded on my laptop for about a year now and so far there have been no major problems. I've currently played 200+ hours on there and I know many other "Simmers" that have played on Sims4 for 100x more time than I have, so I doubt the problem has occurred from me "playing too much/often".
Recently I've discovered a re-accuring issue with the game.
I can play fine for about an hour -3 hours on a good day- but after that the screen goes white and a textbox appears addressing "The Sims 4 has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution" the only option is to "Cancel" for about five minutes until I get the option to "Wait for a response" or "force shut down". I then have to wait a good 5 hours, or restart my laptop (currently) 3 times continuously in order to even get the game to load up through origin, let alone through the desktop shortcut/taskbar. This has been happening since April now and it's really making me mad as I have to save my game every 3 minutes as I'm paranoid my game will crash at any minute!
I used to have CC's downloaded in my Mods folder and have done since March-April, but have recently removed them in hopes of fixing the game, after I removed the mods I also unistalled and re-downloaded Sims 4 and opened it through origin and I have no ad-ons from the sims 4 apart from "Spooky Stuff".
I would gladly receive any help or advice anyone has to offer, I really want my game fixed...âšī¸
