I've done everything i can to figure out how to repair the game, i'm not tech savey so if there are other things please let me know. i play with no mods or cc and have them turned off, ive repaired the game many times and looked up things on youtube and done them all and nothing is working. HELP i want to play
I'm having the same problem since the new patch update. No mods, but game either randomly crashes when it rains or snows (which it never did before, and yes, I did do an entire hardware investigation and it's not that) or when I save to exit, the game just hangs. Also noticed that I cannot upload anything to the gallery.
MaddieW58 Thanks for the dxdiag. Please force the game to run in DirectX 11 mode. Open the EA App, select Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx11 to the command line box.
If that alone doesn't help, disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming.
DailySlychosis Please create your own thread listing all the issues you're seeing. Please provide a dxdiag as well. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
