Sims 4 launching but disappearing?
I just reinstalled sims with all its packs, and entirely new cc. I was trying to launch it for the first time since downloading, and it WILL launch, but no window will appear and it is not present on...

squemmily Does the game launch without your Mods folder? Please test and let me know. You don't need to save your progress.
For the error that the game is already open, restart your computer. Alternately, open the Task Manager and end any process that belongs to Sims 4 or the EA App, including in the background processes list.
It did launch yesterday without my mods folder! but I had already uninstalled all old mods and gone through the process of reinstalling new, updated ones.
