Sims 4 Not Opening through EA App

I am trying to open Sims 4 through EA and everytime I click play, it says it's launching like normal then it stops and nothing happens. Which is also usually normal, but I was able to sit around for THIRTY MINUTES and nothing has happened. The only "mods" I have are cc clothes and a few build items. I even tried opening the game through Steam but ran into the same issue the game won't load no matter what I do.

i did this recently, the game opens without my save data and runs just fine, but every time i try to open it through the EA app it just stops and decides not to last minute

pharthead27 Are you saying the game works if you move the user folder, with your saves and other data in it, but not if you put it all back? Because it sounds like something in that folder is the problem. The most likely culprit is a broken mod or custom content item (or more than one), so start there.
