I have the same problem. My Sims 4 game said that it was "Not responding" so I closed it. I went to install some custom content, then I tried to open the game. It wouldn't launch, so I tried again. No errors or anything, it just doesn't launch. It did the same swirly thing it does like when the Sims is loading to launch, but it doesn't launch. I tried from my Origin account, and it didn't work. I tried repairing and updating, and even using the Mod Conflict Detector (here), but nothing works. Please help me, as I am about to start a legacy on my Simblr and I really want to play again! ;-;

not even origin is opening
i had the same problem at first, try to restart your pc and check if you dont have any aditional content, if you have delete. after you have done all of this and the game doesnt open try to uninstalled and installed.
anyways this is an origin problem and we cannot do much about it so for the moment if you dont find any solution ill guess we have to wait
Wouldn't uninstalling it and reinstalling it get rid of all your CC and mods that you added to your game?
my sister has over 2000 custom content bits and she says to re lode them because your sims is denying one of them
