Sims 4 not working on new pc windows 10

I got a new pc today and I can't seem to make the sims 4 work. While steam and Microsoft store games work fine, the sims 4 gives me the not working pop-up at launch. It works fine on my old laptop, so I'm not sure what the root of the problem might be. I have tried repairing, updating, uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and origin. at this point, I'm out of ideas. I contacted support and even them weren't sure what the problem is. 

My pc specs:

Alienware 17 R5

Intel core 19-8950Hk 2.9Ghz

Ram 16gb

Nvidia 1080

again, my pc is fairly new and all other games run fine.

    Should be. I would try disabling it. Depends a bit if you plan on using it.

    are you have a diffrent antivirus app running ( blocking it), or have allow rule run at laptop, but not on new pc. ?

    We already try testing that theory while on the call with support and it didn’t seem to conflict woth the game.

    Can I have your computer ?

    Anyways, you have a conflict with NahimicOSD.dll .. this is an audio software that comes with MSI boards.

    Make sure to either disable while playing, check for updates or remove.

    Thank you so much! I’ll figure out if I want to keep it or not?m, but for now it’ll disable it before playing

    Glad to hear that helped.

    Enjoy Seasons when it comes out. From what I saw at EA Play, it's definitively worth it.
