Sims 4 Pet Adoption Problem
I tried to put one of my dogs up for adoption and the NPC came and the pet was removed, but it never ended the adpotion. The NPC is no longer on my plot, but I cant do anything because it says "You cannot do this while a sim is leaving your household!". The crate is still here, and I can't save or access anything to try and finish the adoption.

It sounds like you might have this bug:
You can check what other people have done, sometimes there can be work-arounds, but usually when you have an issue like this you need to quit your game without saving..You can also make a new post in that thread (or repost what you just posted) to give EA more info about the size of the problem. 🙂
