Sims 4 Random Crashes - Fresh Game + Windows

Recently I've had to reinstall Windows because my laptop was really going through it. Besides the issues I was receiving from that, Sims has constantly been crashing with NO mods, NO cc, and the game is completely fresh - as is Origin/EA Play - on this fresh install of Windows. The errors I'm getting from the Event Viewer application appear as:

I'm unsure of what to do to fix this if I'm using clean installs of everything. Please keep in mind I am not computer savvy, and thank you for anyone who takes the time to help me.

  • 129c3de66e51102f  I've seen a few cases of the python37_64.dll error on your particular processor.  It's a more common issue on high-end desktop CPUs, and updating the BIOS helps a lot of the time, and when it doesn't, disabling CPU Turbo Boost usually fixes it.  But you already have the newest BIOS version, and laptop BIOS don't typically offer the wide array of options that desktop versions do.  So I'm not sure I know what to tell you.

I did ask someone else who's better with hardware than I am, and he suggested that perhaps running the game only on the performance cores could help.  You can choose which cores a given process is allowed to use in the Task Manager's Details tab.  Right-click TS4_x64.exe and select Set affinity, then select the cores you want the game to use.  Your CPU has eight P cores, likely options 0 to 7, and sixteen E cores.

You can experiment with different core configurations as well if you want.  Four cores is more than enough for the game, and in fact before DirectX 11 mode was introduced, it could only use four cores at all.
