sims 4 save is corrupted? please help

so this first started when i was cleaning out my mods folder because of another glitch (every time i tried to make an alien sim, my game would freeze on cas and i'd have to force shut down). after deleting some mods, i tried to go back into my save and it crashes on the loading screen each time. i am able to click "load save" in the main menu, the screen will be up and loading for a few seconds, then crash. i have tried repairing the game twice through the ea app (the ea app crashed both times while repairing? which is weird). i've tried creating a brand new sims 4 folder and moving my old saves over to the new created folder. I've tried deleting the localthumb package, i've tried playing without my mods, i have tried renaming my backup version saves in my folder and played with them, but nothing has worked. the game still crashes in this specific save. i have tried everything and nothing seems to be working. the game only works in new, unplayed saves. my game is fully updated to the latest version, as well as my computer and the EA app.
