Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have a DxDiag of my computer. it doesn't show in screenshots
What happens when the bug occurs? Every time i log in there is a white and black flickering across the screen. for example when two sims were woohoo-ing i could see them lying flat under the covers due to the glitch. also every time the sims move they are laggy and the camera is stiff and glitchy
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to run smoothly as before
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

I'e had sims 4 for at least a year and a half and it has never done this before. I just bought the city living expansion pack and am guesing that is the problem. Additionally i had never backed up my sims and so 2000+ hours of gameplay has disappeared. however i read a post on here saying there is nothing i can do about that now and am guessing that was something separate. i have a DxDiag of my computer but the glitch stops for a second every time i take a screenshot. the flickering is black and white and is all over the screen rather than in a particular place. I have tried changing the graphic settings but there is no difference.
