gravexgirl Yes, everything's there now, although there are no new errors in the dxdiag. Are you playing through Steam? I ask because there are some Steam crashes in the dxdiag. I don't typically see them associated with Sims 4 issues, but it's worth checking. And if Steam is running in the background while you play (check the Task Manager's background processes list) even though you don't use Steam for Sims 4, be sure to shut it down before you launch the game.
The DISM command can take a little while to start, but it should have started and run to completion if you initially saw that message.
And I STILL need to know about a new save. So please try one, exactly as I described, and tell me what happens.
