Sims 4 startup error running low on disk space

Question

Omg, I went through hours of problems trying to install sims 4 and I finally did it. Then, I went to play and a pop up came up and said im running low on disk space. I plugged in my hard drive and installed everything on there, I checked and I have 256 gigabytes left on it and I've done several disk cleanups on my windows and hard drive, I've cleaned out folders and deleted so much and still no disk space. please help me, I've been at this for 2 days now.

Are you using oneDrive ?

I have downloaded sims4 and my expansion packs on to an external hard drive but whenever i rest the game no matter how many times i cant start the game it keeps crashing on me can anyone help
