Sims 4 stuck on saving/loading screen

Hi! This is my first time writing in this forum in my 7-8 years of playing this game..

My game won’t go past the saving stage (and sometimes the loading screen). I have uninstalled all my CCs and mods but the problem is still here. I am having this problem since yesterday.

Everytime I make a new save file and start playing, everything is fine, but when I try to save the game or go to manage worlds either the loading screen or the saving screen is loading infinitely. It is not playable or enjoyable. I also tried to repair it from the EA app numerous times but to no avail. I have also deleted the cache.

What can I do more?

    Larisaa49  Is OneDrive running on your computer?  Even if you never use it, OneDrive could be interfering with the game's ability to save.  Let me know either, and if it is present, decide whether you want OneDrive syncing your Sims 4 files, still around but not syncing your Sims 4 data, or gone entirely.

    Larisaa49  Is OneDrive running on your computer?  Even if you never use it, OneDrive could be interfering with the game's ability to save.  Let me know either, and if it is present, decide whether you want OneDrive syncing your Sims 4 files, still around but not syncing your Sims 4 data, or gone entirely.

    Hi again, so sorry for answering so late, my coursework is brutal. 

    I have the OneDrive application installed which only has one of my PowerPoint presentation from 4 years ago, so I don't think it's actively running on my computer. I'll try to completely uninstall it and hope for the best.

    Hi there,

    I have been using my laptop to play over the last few days and have no issues, I closed it down last night and this afternoon it has decided to show me an error code. the only thing I can think of is the onedrive I have for school.. i used it earlier today and now as I said before it no longer wants to load into my household. I'm not very tech-smart but even though my sims is not on my onedrive could this still be interfering with the game ??
