@rossbarefoot59 Don't count on EA fixing this. I am having the same trouble. Tried everything. Disabled Firewall, Turned off Antivirus, Turned of Anti-Malware. Hooked my Computer straight to my Modem, bypassing my router. Uninstalled (manually) and reinstalled Origin. Uninstalled (manually) and reinstalled Sims 4. Did a factory reset of Sims 4 (remove the directory that holds saves, mods, DLC, etc.) Cleaned the cache in Origin. EA Advisor suggested Flushing DNS, doing a clean boot, neither of which worked. I talked to EA Advisor again yesterday. They told me after looking at my MSInfo that the problem was crashing apps on my computer. I don't think so when before the Sept. 27th update I could download stuff from the Gallery with no problems. I even told EA that I was not the only person having this problem. If I'm not the only one then how can it be crashing apps on my computer? Are there apps on your computer that crashing? I doubt it. Pretty much it looks to me like EA doesn't even want to acknowledge that there is a problem, they are blaming it on our computers and wiping their hands of it. Personally I don't know if I am going to even get City Living (I didn't pre-order) at this point.
