So, I don't know what's going on, and I've done everything: resetting the app, clearing the cache, resetting my laptop, and troubleshooting. Nothing seems to work! I'm not getting any error messages either.
Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

No. I've looked at all the forums and done everything recommended, yet I'm still having issues.
It's got something to do with the EA app. My PC requirements are fine, everything is updated. It's just the app. It has issues almost all the time
ugh I'm having the same issue, I've even moved it to a 4tb external hard drive and it will go to the main screen and the mouse is frozen. No error reports come up. Its so frustrating, I've uninstalled like 4 times over the past two days!
thekaffeehaus Try forcing the game to open in DirectX 11 mode. Open the EA App, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx11 to the command line box.
liz1234567 As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

hi puzzlezaddict Thank you for your help, when i moved it out of documents it didnt show up in my ea app. Basically im trying to also use this on a WD passport external Hard drive too (i thought it was an issue due to space) but IDK what im doing haha. Im not techie at all ive attached that dxdiag thingo below. Appreciate any help you can give :)
