Sims 4 won't load

I'm sort of new to Sims 4, I only started playing it this year. For some reason whenever I click to start it, it won't start. I've tried everything that it says online, and yet it still won't start. ...

    I've finally got it to work!! It's a bit slow though. I asked Chat GPT and this worked for me: 

    1. Open Steam and go to your Library.
    2. Right-click on The Sims 4 and select Properties.
    3. Go to the Installed Files tab (or Local Files) and click Verify Integrity of Game Files.
    4. Wait for the process to finish, then try launching the game again.
