Yeah it’s on low graphics and laptop mode. I can’t download from the site you sent but maybe I picked the wrong download? I should probably just buy a better laptop lol

@esnika The site I linked is for your model of laptop, so it should work. Having said that, yes, this laptop is always going to struggle with Sims 4 no matter what you do.

That’s so nice thank you, I have no knowledge about any of this. Did an bit of research and bought this laptop:

Didn’t want to spend a lot on it since Sims is the only thing I’ll probably play. Only thing is that the processor may be a bit slow? But do you think this one will work?@esnika The processor is more than fine for Sims 4. The limiting factor will be the graphics chip, which should probably be able to handle medium-high to high graphics settings, depending on your play style.
I wouldn't recommend multitasking very much while playing, as that 8 GB RAM can get used up quickly by Windows (2-3 GB) and the graphics chip (borrowing maybe 1.5 GB while running Sims 4). But playing without much else running in the background should be fine. And if you want to alt-tab to a browser window here and there, just close it when you're done.
