Sims crashes september 2024
Since this latest update my game has been crashing randomly with no warning. I thought maybe it was that my graphics were too high so I put them to the lowest and nothing changes. The crashes happen in both build mode and live mode, most commonly in build mode. I can no longer last more than 2 minutes on build mode if I plan on actually using any items :/
The crashes are random and show no warning other than freezing a second before the game closes completely.
I have no CC or mods, only some packs. I have an Acer Aspire 314. I haven not had previous issues like this prior to the update.
After looking at other threads for help, I have checked the Configoverride folder, which is empty. I have also ran a DxDiag, but as you can tell by the fact I'm posting this, I have no idea how to use it. I have attached it below if that helps get the ball rolling at all.
As I said, I have no history of issues like this. None of my other applications are running differently, it is only the Sims, so that makes me think its not my laptop that's the problem.

@MelanieBowler Thanks for the dxdiag; it's much appreciated and very helpful in your particular case. Please try playing in DirectX 11 mode. Open the EA App game library, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and enter -dx11 in the command line box. Let me know whether it helps.
