Sims not do actions frozen even after use reset sim

Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

What happens if you load the save again ? Does it crash right away or is it ok ?

Usually when this type of lockups occur, try canceling all the interaction queues (for me it often happens with teens doing homework), then clicking ESC to get the menu. Close the menu again, that often gets rid of the lockup.

They do sometimes lock up again so make sure they're queues are empty, then try again (queue may also take a while to cancel)

Thank you for your advice one of my family sims have become unplayable when ever I go to them they are stood outside the house and when I tell them to either interact with another sim they do t move and even when I reset the sim to cancel out the actions it works on that and then I try an other test see if if they move this time so click on the ground to 'Go there' but no that did not work either. So I closed my game as it was at the start of it I did not save it so nothing to lose and I rebooted my computer. I really do like this family I got them from the hashtag menu and the house that went with them, some one who made them into a family guy from a TV programme and the person who made them did a great job on them and I am very sad that they now become unplayable. I played them for 4 or 5 times and now they become unresponsive just like my computer browser that does that. Even resetting them not working now. As I know when you reset them they then become playable. I am just hopping now I restarted my computer game well work properly. Give an update soon.

I try all the above info and hopefully I be able to play this family. Yes the restart worked now they are obeying my demands 

Another cause of this are outdated mods, so make sure you don't have any.

Thank you how can I tell about outdated mods? only been playing beginning of this year. Not sure what is outdated what is recent do they have a date when they where first added to the game? Oh wait a minute they the ones I seen on YouTube where they use to have much fatter sims and shapes and sizes if that them no I don't have anything like that

I think I found the reason why my game was playing up in settings in the game play there was a tick that said on it fill empty homes now I think that was a reason now going to try and evict all the house I not played apart from the Goths and the Pancakes

So you didn't add any files to the mods folder manually ?

Do you maybe have a backup you can try ?

I removed some of the sims from the house that was empty before, but it made no difference as I still can't play it properly if I uninstall the game and then download it again if all else fails after I done more trouble shooting that be the last resort as I don't want to lose my eggs drew other things I don't want to lose but they are easily obtainable but not my eggs or the finel prize I won. I wonder if there is any way I could retreve the data. I know if I could put the eggs. If I try to move my sims to another house well the egg collection be automatically stored then I could demolish the house. But the only thing with that got to be a respite part where it lets me play so I could try and get my sims to move. Today there was no respite so I had to forch closed my app as it was preventing my computer from closing down. It was because I put the game on full screen and the game kept going to a white page on a none responsive and I had no way of closing it down as it would not let me 😡

I only did the creat a sim menu and I did down load some from the gallery and replaced rather than add from the gallery but some I just did myself not sure if it the sim or the building I got from the gallery could be at fault?  I put it in windowed now see if it will respond for me if not more trouble shootings
