SIMS PACKS NOT BEING RECOGNISED

Yeah! When I try to play my saves it tells me it requires packs I ALREADY OWN! So frustrating, I tried repairing on the EA app and an error pops up.

I'm having the same problem, I literally played 2 hours before with no major issues and came back to no dlc. Old threads on the topic say to delete localthumbcache and repair the game in the launcher, time to try that I guess.

I have bought nearly every expansion pack, game pack, kit, etc.; however, when I play my game, the game says I need to buy 55+ packs, or the save may be corrupted. Everything is up to date, EA says everything is installed and I don't know what to do. I was using and playing it just fine last night.

same! was able to download for rent earlier today. was looking in the gallery and then it froze. after i closed and reopened the game, it said i was missing all the packs and couldn’t play my save. no mods or cc, never used any of that. not sure if it’s a game issue or the EA app, but super disappointing to have just spent the money on the new game only to not actually be able to play. 

I think it may be the EA app itself as it keeps crashing everytime I try to load. It is unfortunate to be spending so much money on a game you think they could make it work ☹️

The exact same thing is happening to me right now, and I was playing the game successfully with all my packs present literally about two hours ago.  Came back to it and it says I've never even bought any expansion packs - they're all marked as 'unowned'.  Can't launch my save.

I have had the sims 4 and many of the expansions packs for years without issue, I also had the sims 3 and and city skylines on my origin account. I t redeemed a product code for the Sims 4 for Rent today which worked successfully and was added to my account. 

There was also a sims 4 update for the base game to download - as this started all of the content from my EA account has disappeared - all the games and everything. This is hundreds of pounds worth of Games just gone and I can't see how to get them back.

When I log into origin the app is trying by itself to re-download them without being prompted but each time is failing. 

Could I please be advised how this can be fixed?

I think it is, now I can't log into the ea launcher at all, error code EC: 10005. Can't even try the potential fix now lols.

Hi! Ever since the new update, my sims has been lagging and stuff. I have about 5 packs and just bought another. I exited out of the game to get ready for the day and when I came back to play, it said all my packs were gone and won't like me possibly buy them again or restore them in some way. What should I do?
