Sims 4 won't open. Every time I try to open it my laptop comes up with the message of "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I don't want to risk deleting Sims from Origin because I've lost the code that comes with the CD and don't want to permanently lose my game. Please help!

And about the product code, you can always make a screenshot of your game in Origin. When you right click the game and choose 'game properties' you'll be able to see the game code.
Make a screenshot of that, save it somewhere safe.
@Elise-Kelly2000 First - uninstalling the game will not uninstall the game from Origin. The game is locked to the Origin account you created and can not be user deactivated. To Properly reinstall the Visual C++ Redist package you will need to uninstall any packages that are already installed. So if you have the 2010 package already installed you need to go to programs and feature ins the control panel and uninstall the 2010 package first.
