Somehow my Sims 4 Game was overtook by One Drive Now I can no longer launch it

Question

One Drive overtook my mods and other Sims 4 folders now I can't launch the game on the EA App. When I click on launch thingie nothing happens. It will show it going to thru the process but the game never launches. I try to close the EA App and it says The Sims 4 is running to close it first. I tried moving my mods folder to the desktop and that didn't help. I have to go to the task manager to end the Sims 4 Task.. Please help me find a solution. I don't want to uninstall all 90 plus packs and reinstall plus I'll lose my mods. I especially don't want to lose my saves and relationships.

I hate OneDrive. I had a similar problem in that it was moving actual game files off of the computer to OneDrive and my game was missing whole elements. Thankfully, I was able to catch it early enough that my save file wasn’t gone and I could fix it quickly. &nbsp;I did reinstall the game, and was able to put my other files back in from a recent backup. I now have OneDrive disabled on my game computer. Hope you can fix everything.
