i hadn't played in a few months and when i went to launch the game it said my account was linked to a different EA account, which didn't make sense. When attempting to troubleshoot EA linking, i also lost all my expansion packs.

If you've unlinked your Steam and EA accounts and aren't able to relink them on your own, it'd be best to try connecting with our live support team to see if there are other options available. There's a set number of times where one can make adjustments to linked accounts, and it sounds like you've passed that threshold for the year. Unfortunately, we don't have access to the necessary tools to make any changes for you here on the forums, and if the advisor says there's nothing they can do to help, then I'm afraid you'll need to wait until your threshold resets.
With your purchases not appearing on Steam Deck, it sounds like this might be a side effect of unlinking those accounts, so it'd be worth checking again after you're able to get those accounts linked to see if there's any change there.
