I've been noticing lately that many of the NPC's have had the same exact outfit on when spawning into areas. It's usually something like the outfit on the Sim to the left in the picture attached. They're always strange combinations that aren't in their outfits at all. I have to Shift-Click, change outfit to get them back into something normal.
Has anyone else been seeing this happen? Any known fixes?
I think that's by design. It's Sims with the weirdo trait that dress that way. I have them too and I think everyone else.

Okay! That makes sense. Just wish there was some sort of variation between the outfits, then. Guess I'll go through and try to remove that trait if I see it. Thank's for the response!
@crinrict @SimGuruNick @IrishMadCat_EA I'm definitely seeing these outfits show up on Sims that do not have the Weirdo Trait.
I've got 3 NPC's I know for sure that I've seen in this strange outfit, their traits are as follows:
Fabulously Wealthy Aspiration with Self Assured, Gloomy, and Good
Serial Romantic Aspiration with Slob, Snob, and Geek
Grilled Cheese Aspiration with Lazy, Evil, and Jealous
These 3 Sims were all NPC's, completely randomized. The only thing I've done is gone in and edited their clothing. Don't know if this could have anything do with it.
I can continue to update this with traits if that would be helpful, or make a new thread, since I accepted a solution for this one. Didn't occur to me to check that trait until after I accepted. And I'm a QA Tester myself, shame on me!

But I'm not 100%, I think weirdo is a hidden trait. It's not one you can choose from CAS.
Here are two more screen captures from the same load in as the first screenshot. Virtually the same outfit, just different colors on the bathing suit.
Don't know why this is driving me so crazy, but they just seem to be everywhere on the public lots!
