Stuck in Season selection when trying to buy a small business lot

Today they released the new businesses and hobbies ep. So excited to play and start up my small business.
However, when I went to buy a small business venue or lot, it took me to the screen to choose a season to play in instead of loading the world maps. When I select a season and click the checkmark, it doesn’t respond. The game is stuck in this screen so I have to save and exit the game and reopen it. I tried several methods to buy the small business venue but every time it got stuck on the season selection. 
I’m afraid I’m going to have to uninstall the seasons pack just to play with the new pack. Not ideal obviously. 
Any other ideas for solutions, or is this just a bug I’m going to have to wait for them to fix?

    Its gone for me after I chose another household as an active one that lives in Sulani im pretty shure you can choose any city except Nordhaven, checked that season menu doesnt show up. Then back to my family in Nordhaven and its gone. Maybe its help to you too.

    I have that issue too, I'm not starting a new family again just to get it working. Edited to add: My sims don't live in Nordhaven. They're located in Willow Creek.

    I am having issues with seasons too, every time my sims needs to travel from their lot to another or another world I have to keep picking a season. 😬 My sims also didn't start in Nordhaven they're in Brindleton Bay. 

    Tho I did create a small business, but I built it on the lot I already owned.

    Oh my theory just crushed. But anyway try to choose other household as active one mb cause it help to me.

    I'm having the same issue but my sim is in nordhaven
