I'm about to lose my mind for real. When I load into the Sims, I get stuck on the main menu. I can't press anything, and the menu turns black and blue, it's absolutely broken, I can't even get out of the game, i have to task manager it. I've tried everything I can think of to play this game, and I've been praying so that maybe, just maybe, I can finally play. I honestly feel like I'm about to cry. This has been for about a month now, pls help me fix it.

If you use mods or custom content, please remove your Mods folder. This is just a test; you don't need to save your progress with the mods and cc gone.
If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
