Systematic crashes

Hello,

After reading through many posts and trying to fix my problem, I’m posting here because I haven’t been able to resolve it.

My Sims 4 game crashes after playing for a while.

Here is my DXDiag error:

APPCRASH
TS4_x64.exe
67367823
80000003
000000000185baf1

Just to clarify:

- My drivers are up to date

- I don’t have any mods or custom content

- I’ve tried a clean boot

- My antivirus is disabled

This is really strange and frustrating.

Thank you in advance for your

  • mucatshi  When you tried the clean boot, did you still get an error 0x80000003?  You can check in the Reliability Monitor (click Windows key-R and enter perfmon /rel in the run box to open it) so you're seeing the time each error happened.  And in the clean boot, did you manually disable anything that might still have been running in the Task Manager?  Some apps like to stay active in a clean boot for whatever reason.

If you did get an error 80000003 in the clean boot and you're sure everything was disabled, please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the graphics driver, as described here:

Try a slightly older driver, one new enough to be compatible with Sims 4 but not the very newest version.

Hello, thx you for your time, here is my DxDiag

My sims folder is excluded from Windows Defender, i tried a clean boot, I tried the clean some stuff on the Terminal like i saw in this forum.

  • mucatshi  Error code 0x80000003 is a breakpoint error, which has two main causes: the game running out of memory and a bad graphics driver.  An out-of-memory crash can be caused by an antivirus blocking the game, even Windows Defender's Controlled Folder Access, so please check Defender, which will probably be running now that you've disabled your other antivirus.

Other than that, I'd like to see the full dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
