Terrible Glitch in Game

I hadn't played my game in at least 2 weeks. I decided to get on a play again today, but when the game started, it started to blink from game to desktop, again and again, never getting passed the Maxis loading screen. I have restarted my computer, taken out the mods, reset the game, uninstalled and resinstalled the game, and still NOTHING. I have no idea what's going on. I've never had this problem, and my game worked perfectly the last time I played it. Also, I hadn't downloaded any new mods. Is anyone else dealing with this? Can someone please help me? ☹️
