The dynamic library "rld.dll" failed to initialize (E1104)

I just bought Sims 4 on my windows 8 laptop, I recieved a link so I could download it. Problem is, besides how confused I am with installing it, I keep getting this "Fatal Error." 

The dynamic library "rld.dll" failed to initialize (E1104)

I extract all the files, open them in WinZip? 

Could somebody explain step by step how to install this? I don't have a disk nor did I download it from "Origin" so everything scattered around the internet is pretty much useless to me.

Please help.

    That doesn't sound like a legal copy you were sold.

    Origin is a requirement for legal games so get your money back from whereever you bought it and get either the DVD or buy it through Origin.
